I’m obsessed with family film, and really keen to help share this with other photographers (in simple ways!), so more families can end up with these precious little keep sakes!
Video is EVERYWHERE and is the most amazing way to offer extra value to your clients.
In addition to serving your clients better, video marketing content is excellent for your business and let’s not forget about the value film brings to capturing your own family too.
We are photographers because we love to tell people’s stories, and nothing enhances those stories more than adding video! I don’t think there is a genre of photography where video isn’t relevant these days?
Video editing can feel technical, and like a real barrier for adding video to your photography business. I promise there is a super simple way. I can get you up and running with video editing in 90 minutes. I use Davinci Resolve (you just download the free version) and I can show you how to use all your photography editing knowledge to video, really quickly.
Once upon a time you didn’t know how to edit still images either, you just need someone to show you the basiscs and then you are ready to go!
Maybe an oppertunity have come up but you don’t feel you can manage the edting? Don’t worry, we can get you going quickly (save your self 12 hours on YouTube) and we can use your own footage during the training. We can do remotely or you can come to me – in person is always better I think.

I want you to know there is a very easy way to get going with adding film to your photography business. You don’t need lots of gear or technical skills. As a photographer you already know SO much that’s directly transfereable.
I have an online course all aout making Family Film, including editing, but if you would like 1-2-1 training we can either do zoom, or you are welcome at my studio and training room in Market Harborough. I’m on the main Midlands train line and just 5min walk from the station.

Speaker
I had been invited to speak at the NEC Photography Show for 3 years running, all about Family Film and simple film editing.
During lockdown I delivered video training to the members of the Master Photographers Association, as well as talks for camera clubs.
Over the years I hosted my own training courses, done various talks and training for local businesss groups and overall I’m always interested in connecting with new oppertunities for speaking, so please feel free to get in touch.
